Learn the tools by building, not by watching
You describe an app in plain English and the AI dev tools build it for you. The team builds three on purpose, as a progression. Each app surfaces different capabilities and different limits so the team learns what these tools really do and where they break.

Build real AI functionality into the app
By the third build, the app has AI working inside it. The app hands the AI a task, the AI works through it, and the result comes back into the app for the team to use. Multi-step by nature, with a person able to check it before the app acts on it.

A generic tool answers from the whole web. The useful version answers from your information: your SOPs, your policies, your FAQs, your past notices. We run hands-on practice exercises applying the techniques to data like yours. This isn't a production build. It's learning the method safely.

A tool one person practices with is an experiment. A tool your organization relies on needs guardrails. The day closes by walking through what it takes to move from practice to production responsibly, so when you do build something real, the team already knows the controls to insist on.

Do participants need any technical background? +
No. AI Foundations (AI 101) has no prerequisites and is designed for any staff member regardless of role or technical background. The Build Workshop (AI 102) is for people who've completed Foundations and want to go further. The Agents Workshop (AI 103) is for IT staff and power users. You don't need to know how to code. You need to be willing to try.

The Build Workshop has three progressively complex builds: the first teaches the loop, the second adds moving parts, and the third pushes until it breaks on purpose. Every participant leaves with three working apps they built themselves.
What tools do participants use? +
ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Lovable, and Base44, depending on the workshop level. Every participant needs a laptop and internet connection. We handle accounts and setup for the day. If your organization has existing tool licenses, we can work within them.
Are workshops on-site or virtual? +
On-site. The hands-on nature of the Build Workshop requires everyone in the same room. That's what makes it work. The Executive Offsite is held in Park City, Utah. If you have specific circumstances that make on-site difficult, reach out and we'll discuss what's possible.
How many people can attend? +
Groups of ten or fewer. This isn't a conference session or a webinar. It's hands-on work where every person is building and every question gets answered. Smaller groups produce better learning and better apps. If you have a larger team, we run multiple sessions.
Is the training customized for our industry? +
Yes. Before the day, we run a short prep call with your IT and leadership to scope the systems you run and the work that matters most. Every participant fills out a five-minute survey so we know their experience level and what they want to build. The live examples and practice exercises are shaped around what comes back, not a generic script.
How does AIDL handle data privacy and security during the workshop? +
We cover it directly in every session, not as an afterthought. We make the difference between public consumer tools and private enterprise tools concrete before anyone types anything. Practice exercises use representative data, not your live operational data. The Deploy Safely section walks through exactly what controls belong in place when you're ready to build something real.
What happens after the workshop? +
The training, resources, and skills stay with your team regardless of what comes next. Most organizations use what they built in the workshop as a starting point for their real AI work. Some move into use case scoping, governance planning, or full implementation through the FlexAI Framework. We can support that when you're ready. There's no obligation to continue, but most teams want to.
